Saturday morning skate - Holmstrom update

It's still wait and see with Tomas Holmstrom. Holmstrom participated in the morning skate Saturday, didn't appear as if he was favoring his hamstring injury, but a final determination on whether he'll play in Game 4 against the Pittsburgh Penguins will be made before the game. "He did whatever anyone else did," said coach Mike Babcock at morning press conference. "He felt pretty good. He's going to come back for the game, and if he's ready, he'll play. If not, he'll be scratched." Holmstrom had been off the ice for the last two days since injuring himself Wednesday late in Game 3 against the Penguins. Holmstrom said Friday he was feeling better and was hopeful of playing in Game 4. If Holmstrom can't play, Darren McCarty would likely replace Holmstrom in the line up.
