UPDATE: FRANZEN WILL PLAY GAME 2
That was strange. Babcock said in his press conference, after receiving a note, that nothing had changed and Franzen would not play in Game 2. OK. Fine. Then, about 10-20 minutes later, Babcock suddenly does an about face and tells reporters in the media work area that Franzen has been cleared to play. OK. With Franzen in, Darren McCarty is a likely candidate to be scratched.
