Filpulla, Chelios update
No more time off for the Red Wings, who returned to work Monday with Chris Chelios back on the ice, but no Valtteri Filppula. Chelios missed the series-clinching Game 4 because of what appears to be a sore left knee. But Chelios practiced Monday and said he'd be ready to play Game 1 Thursday against Dallas. As for Filppula, he hurt his leg in the third period of Game 4 Thursday in Denver and didn't go on the ice for Monday's practice. Filppula said he was feeling much better Monday and was optimistic he'd ready to open the next series against the Stars. "I feel a lot better. Hopefully I'll be ready to go (Thursday)," Filppula said. Also, it looks like Game 2 at JLA Saturday will be a night game. NBC isn't televising games this weekend, which means Canadian TV will want an evening game Saturday.
