Friday morning update
Both teams will make adjustments, they'll tinker with details, but with the amount of times the Red Wings and Nashville Predators have played each other there aren't many surprises left. "I don't think there's much either one of us can do to surprise the other," coach Mike Babcock said. "We've played them so much over a course of time. They have a good team that works and competes real hard and have good energy. If you're not on top of your game, they have the ability to beat you." Babcock didn't expect to make any line up changes for Saturday's Game 2. Nashville likely won't have forward Scott Nichol, who was injured Thursday, but could replace Nichol with Grosse Pointe native David Legwand (foot). Babcock expects the Predators to play another difficult game. "Nashville has been a well prepared team all year long and they'll look at their game plan and see what they can do better," said Babcock, who added there were about three points on which the Wings' coaching staff drilled its team on Thursday to improve. "You're always looking for little improvements."
