No Hasek against Blues
The Wings will be without Dominik Hasek again Tuesday. Hasek came down with the flu Sunday and didn't practice Monday afternoon. Coach Mike Babcock said he'll start Chris Osgood Tuesday in St. Louis, with Jimmy Howard likely being recalled to back up Osgood. The Wings will have forward Dan Cleary (broken jaw), though. Cleary hasn't played since being struck by a Mikael Samuelsson shot in Toronto Feb. 9. But Cleary has now been cleared to play after having wires removed from his jaw Monday morning. Valtteri Filppula (groin), Tomas Holmstrom (abdominal strain) and Darren McCarty (ribs) all remain out until, at least, Friday.
