Lidstrom could be back Sunday
Nicklas Lidstrom could be returning to the Red Wings line up as soon as Sunday. Lidstrom skated with the Wings Tuesday afternoon at practice, took part in non-contact drills, and said a return is imminent. Lidstrom has missed last five games since spraining his right knee Feb. 18 in Denver. "It's a possibility," said Lidstrom of a return Sunday against Nashville. "I felt a little sluggish, I haven't skated (in a practice) in two weeks. I skated yesterday (Monday, on his own) and felt okay. I'm hoping it improves that I can play this weekend." Lidstrom and Chris Chelios (right fibula) both took part in non-contract drills, but were held out of the physical battles. "They said best get off the ice and let the other guys do it," said Lidstrom, who added he's right on target for a three-week return. Chelios said his return is day to day. The Wings are also getting Brian Rafalski (groin) back for Wednesday's game against St. Louis. Rafalski has missed the last eight games.
