John Niyo here - en route to Dallas for a two-game road trip that suddenly matters ...
Probably not what the NBC folks had in mind, but Jimmy Howard will start in net for the Wings on Sunday afternoon against the Stars. (No pressure, kid.) Osgood presumably will get the start the next night at Colorado. Dominik Hasek (hip) isn't on the trip.
Brian Rafalski is, but he likely won't play Sunday. And you can expect some line shuffling -- Franzen up with Datsuk and Holmstrom, perhaps -- from a team that's winless in five.
