Cleary out 6-8 weeks
Six to eight weeks is the initial report on how long Dan Cleary will be out. He'll need surgery for his jaw. This will probably change plans for GM Ken Holland, who will need more scoring now at the Feb. 26 trade deadline. How about Jaromir Jagr? Several reports recently out of New York are hinting the Rangers could be interested in trading Jagr. He won't reach certain benchmarks in his contract this season, meaning he'll become an unrestricted free agent. Jagr could be interesting for the Dallas Stars, too, among other teams, but that could be a name to put in the back of your mind.
