David Carradine: A final guest appearance

David Carradine fans who would like to see one of his final performances, should tune into Fox's psychological drama "Mental," which airs at 9 tonight.

In the episode, the late actor plays a catatonic author who was struck by lightning. Determined to bring him out of this state, Dr. Jack Gallagher (Chris Vance) tries an experimental procedure.

Carradine died last week at the age of 72 after accidentally hanging himself in what is believed to have been an act of erotic asphyxiation.

While we may never know all of the details surrounding his death, fans like me hope that people will focus more on Carradine's body of work than the unusual and sad way he left this planet.

Although Carradine made a career comeback in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" movies, diehard TV fans will always remember the actor as Kwai Chang Caine from "Kung Fu," which aired from 1972-75.
