How ironic is this ...
Seldom-used outfielder Don Kelly is having a heckuva game, and it's a nice story -- considering it was his misadventure in left field Sept. 19 that led to a critical Tigers' loss. He's now hustled home from first on Brandon Inge's two-out double in the 10th, and just came up with a nice, looping, opposite-field single in a potentially winning rally.
Miguel Cabrera worked a nice walk with one out, and really got those legs moving to get to third on Kelly's hit. That was big, because it also drew a throw -- and got Kelly to second, forcing them to load the bases by walking Ryan Raburn.
Can Inge add to his ridiculous numbers with the bases loaded and be the hero for a second time tonight?
