Who would have thought

That the Royals would win two in a row at home for the first time since July 4-5 at the expense of the division-leading Angels and Tigers?

Did you see that Dontrelle Willis has been recalled from his injury rehab assignment (because Toledo's season is over) but remains on the disabled list? Do any of you think he'll ever throw another pitch for the Tigers?

Was that a WebGem in foul territory for Brandon Inge? Sure looked like one. Possibly the most amazing throw I've ever seen him make.

Who would have thought

No, I don't think Willis will ever pitch for the Tigers, or anyone.

Rather than forfeiting $12M of Ilich's money, wouldn't it make sense to convert him yo an outfielder, as the Cards did with Ankiel? I remember Willis put up some real numbers with the Marlins, and at 27 could give the club some left handed punch.

LOL. Think that started with Labor Day. Stafford, you better be ready kid. Stanton's ailing and Culpepper did a number on the pile shag. Yet, Schwartz is hoping to surprise New Orleans? How? By keeping the winning margin over the local team under four touchdowns?

Not to fret, Philly. Millen trained his underlings in the ways of football management to maintain continuity in the Lions' front office for years to come! The parade of the highest draft choices shall continue indefinitely, and fans will be able to forget about football long before their attention is properly focused on family when the holidays roll around.

Who'd Thought

Phil, I was Magua two years ago before I was exiled by the cyber police. They were mean to me. So, I eliminated their seed.

Who'd Thought

Hope the Tigs carry us into the fall with the Lions aspiring for a whole five wins. Knee slapper is Millen as a highly regarded commentator after leaving a club in tatters. I'd like to see the guy laying down with the whole squad doing a fast paced cleat drill over his dopey carcass.

Uncas, you parade as Magua or Hawkeye before?

"Do any of you think he'll ever throw another pitch for the Tigers?"

My guess is that they'll give him a shot in spring training and then they'll release him...just like Sheffield.

Decisions,Decisions

This is so upsetting that I spelled "Dombrowski" incorrectly.

Do you think that possibly Mr Dombrowsky has a slight problem facing up to this major error in extending a contract?
