Magglio benched
From St. Louis. . .
The Tigers aren't calling it a benching, but that's what it is.
On Thursday, manager Jim Leyland said he's going to get his slumping right-fielder "away from it." When asked for how long, Leyland replied, "indefintely."
Ordonez is hitting an empty .273 - with only two home runs and 22 RBIs. He has only six RBIs since his last multiple-RBI game on May 15.
