How Kyle Farnsworth occasionally gets hit hard with good velcoity and seemingly good stuff? This could be the reason why.
"He needs to throw with the same velocity inside that he does outside," said Jim Leyland. "He throws 96-97 miles an hour away, and 92 in. His stuff shouldn't get whacked like that".

Farnsworth
Farnsworth is a head case... he really should be a lefty as goofy as he is. I don't expect to see him back as a Tiger next season.
As far as lower velocity on the inside... that just makes it easier for guys to turn on the pitch and blast the ball.
Boom, Boom, Boom.
It would be great if Chucky H. could straighten him out... but first do something with Robertson. The lefty with the goofy glasses and big contract really sucks this season.
How about hiring a "real" pitching coach?
