CHICAGO - Following their 7-0 loss on Saturday to the White Sox, the Tigers placed pitcher Dontrelle Willis on the 15-day disabled list because of a hyperextended right knee - an injury he suffered in the first inning of his start Friday night.
To replace Willis on the roster, the Tigers recalled infielder-outfielder Ryan Raburn from Toledo, but also announced that with a roster move they'll make when his turn in the rotation comes up, right-hander Armando Galarraga will be recalled from Toledo to fill in for Willis.
At Toledo, Galarraga is 2-0 in two starts with a 2.25 ERA>
