Magic dissing Isaih
well said, Terry.
I think you speak for a lot of Pistons fans...or at least this one.
This "revelation" in his book...is going to haunt Magic a lot more than Isiah.
Wow!...I always thought Magic was a class guy..
He really showed his other side and "it ain't pretty"!!
I have lost my respect for Magic Johnson.....very, very disappointing.
Another celebrity dies
They die in three's.
1. Elderly Ed McMahon
2. Sick Farrah Fawcett
3. Sudden Michael Jackson
May they all rest in peace.
I admired and was a fan of all them..in different ways.
I was most affected by Michael Jacksons death....he was a musical genius!...and I do not state that lightly....
I will celebrate his legend and life as being a tremendous talent.....a gentle man.
He was a gift and gifted.
God Bless.
Terry's Back
Terry,
I noticed your doc recommended stretches.....and yes, that is correct and makes a big difference.
But, since your doc recommended this.. did he also refer you to a physical therapist for you to find out what stretches to do and how to do them??
A good chiropractor is worth their weight in gold!
I highly recommend also.
Speaking here as one who has chronic back issues...
Swine Flu
the HYPE is ridiculous.....one would think this was the bubonic plague.
35,000 flu cases are reported each resulting in thousands of death....and one hears very little about that.
That is a stat that most people are not even aware of.
I am very dissappointed in Oakland University for not shaking the hands of the graduates.....and they are supposed to be an insitution of higher learning?
That is pretty sad.....
UofM did not succumb to that foolishness at there graduation...
anyway......You Go Terry...do the hand shakes, high fives...
keep on keepin on...!!
Pistons
Actually thought about the 1991 Pistons too.....2009 reminds me of the end of an era....just as 1991 did.
I find it sad...really very sad to see what has been happening this entire season...
This entire season has been up..down..and all around...
It isn't just one thing..it has been many things.
The Iverson experiment was a disaster...for sure.
Who would have thought prior to November 3rd...that this would have been the season finale.??
I think and this is my observation....that our guys spirit has been broken...it was broken bit by bit this entire season...
it's a shame. just a darn shame.
I agree. The spirit was broken. But it was being broken well before this season. They landed with a thud every season and fans were complaining about Piston melt downs. I am glad this season happened. The Pistons need a cleansing and it was not going to happen even if Billups stayed. They are tired, mentally fried and it is time to find the next generation.

The Detroit Piston Divas
DIVA'S????
Uh...how so?
Someone, please give your description of a "diva".....then I can figure out where you may be coming from....
lol @ diva.....this is who I think of...
King James...or Queen Jenny.
take your pick.
AKA: DIVA
LET ER RIP
YES-SIR!
State of the PISTONS
Yep..It's ugly, real ugly.
It's as depressing as the economy in Michigan.
In bad economic times we can't even get a diversion from good basketball.
Should be an interesting summer.....
Get it done, Joe!!
CyberSurvey: Stop the blackness test?
Today is a day to celebrate because Americans finally got it right!!
Yes, We Did!!
We did it.
Today we have a new leader.
President Barack Hussein Obama
I am so grateful.
Once again we can hold our heads high and revel in the fact that we are Americans and take pride in that.....and will be viewed once again around the world with dignity and respect.
God Bless President Obama.
Celebrate this day.
and be grateful.
Question for Terry
I agree on all points you made!
Question for Terry
Would have done the Chauncey/AI trade?
If not, do you think we would have ended up in the same spot in the post-season??...with the same result as in previous years?
okay..that is more than one question...:>)
I would have done the deal. The Pistons were not going to win a championship with Billups as lead guard. Opposing teams figured him out during the playoffs and trapped Billups into becoming a tentative player.
I do not believe they will win a title this season, but the move makes sense in the long run. The Pistons need new blood on this team and need to take their chances during the free agent market after next season. If that means a couple dud seasons then I am willing to take that chance for a bright future.

Pistons
As a devoted die hard fan of the Pistons....it is so very difficult to watch them play and lose the games they are losing.
I have chosen not to get cynical.
Would be very easy to write off the Pistons this year....just can't go there.
oh, please!
and i don't want to work the holidays either..
whatever!
Stop with the whining.
Terry
so....do you think flip is staying or leaving?
what is your gut telling you?...
My gut is telling me he is gone. I think they need a different voice.

Flip Saunders
I think that maybe Flip was just not the right coach for THIS team. He walked into a "hornets nest" , imo.
Avery Johnson?.....hmm, maybe, maybe not.
Time will tell on ALL of it......Joe D has a lot of decisions to make...thank god he is our GM!!..he is the silver lining to all of this...
Well it is time for the silver lining to make some shining moves. I am waiting his next step.
