IRS cops 'tude with songbird Patti LaBelle
Grammy Award-winning R&B diva Patti LaBelle owes more than $337,000 in federal taxes, records show.
LaBelle, 65, known for the hit "New Attitude," was once engaged to Temptations singer Otis Williams and led the girl group Patti LaBelle and The Bluebells in the 1960s. The group featured a pre-Supremes Cindy Birdsong.
What's owed:
- The IRS filed a $337,104 lien against her on Aug. 31 in the New York City Register's office.
