Media revolting

I do a lot of media bashing out of necessity so it's really nice to have something to good to say about at least a few of paid professionals. Chris Wallace unexpectly reamed out Fox and Friends yesterday for spending two hours on bashing Obama over the remark about his grandmother, which they totally took out of context. As Wallace pointed out, if they presented the whole part of that speech honestly, it didn't say what they were trying to imply it did.

Meanwhile, to be fair to Fox and Friends -- am I really saying that -- co-host Brian Kilmeade had earlier walked off the set in disgust over the other two's relentless pushing of the false meme.

Now today, Court TV's Catherine Crier posting at HuffPo, sings the praises of both for standing up for journalistic integrity and truth in reporting. Good for all of them. It gives me hope that we may see a responsible media again someday. One hopes these three will inspire more of their colleagues to follow suit.
