Smoking...and...consequences

Why should the Government tell ME that I can, or can't, associate with smokers? In my privatly OWNED Bar? In my privatly OWNED Resturant? In the privacy of my OWN home? Is the Government telling me that I DON'T OWN The property I have worked for? Is a Government telling me whom I can, or can't associate with ? Sounds like Nazi Germany to me Sir! Can the Government LEGALLY dictate my working enviromnent, or my customers' choices? Is'nt that a violation of the U.S. Constitution? Isn't that exactly what the Constitution says in "unwarrantable jurisdiction over us" ?.....YES it is !! The Government is telling me, a private citizen, that I have no control over my business environment, and my associations? Our forefathers fought so valantly for the individual and HIS right to choose. Yet little by little in the name of "the Public Good" those rights have been taken away by LIBERAL judges who rule from the bench. Mr. Waldmeir, my wife smokes..I DON'T. But that being the case, why should MY right of association be effected by HER right to choose to smoke? It shouldn't ! You Sir have NOT the guts to stand up for the freedom of association, and choice. You Sir stand for the right of the SOCIALIST "public good"! Are we a Constitutionally Limited REPUBLIC, or a Socialist leaning "good" nation to the world ? WHY?

We value your feedback, so please let us know if you have any questions or problems.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
