Lansing inaction

Obviously the governor is betting that her comrads in Congress like Markey & Kerry are right & there will be no snow this winter due to man made global warming. I suggest we all go out & buy a giant SUV (Detroit made of course) & drive it around the clock at 10 miles over the speed limit. We could fix all the roads with the added gas tax revenue. We could also provide living wages, unlimited unemployment benefits, wellfare for all, reparations, & all the other causes Ms. Granholm loves. Let's hurry because she's only got 1 year left.

Granholm stump speach

If we install a couple thousand of those fabulous bird Cuisinarts (250 tons of steel per) we can increase the amount of energy they create from .06% all the way to .10% of the national production. That's 1/10th of 1% for all those that attended public schools. Of course that energy is going to cost the consumer much more than coal, nuke, or oil. Then in 20 years we can admit that the whole thing was a mistake like ethanol, hydrogen fuel cells & the Granholm Cool Cities Initiative. The Chinese will buy the scrap steel & turn it into crappy little cars. Americans will have to buy the cars because they can't afford a car built by Washington D.C. The plan is perfect.

Savor Full Sized Trucks

Your comments regarding the F-150 were on the mark. I think, however, that spending $33,000 for the new 420 HP Camero will have more collectable value in the long run. It would have the added benefit of raising the blood pressure of every Prius driver sporting an Obama bumper sticker.

Obamas 100 Days

I don't know how you can be so callus Mr. Finley. Only yesterday I was on the Obama web site & there were dozens of testimonials from people that were getting bigger wellfare checks, extended unemployment benefits, & more money for raising kids born out of wedlock. The only thing that I felt was odd was there were no messages from people who work & pay taxes. You can find the link at Sweetness & Light.

Pending Obama Victory

It's good to see that somebody has their head on straight. An Obama administration would be in for only one term, but the damage done would be deep. Picture three Ginsberg clones on the Supream Court. In addition, the flood of new programs enacted would take years to repeal if they were ever eliminated. I guess that all those victims in the Wednesday Obama infomercial had never heard food stamps, early child care, or the school lunch program.

Kilpatrick Perjury

If you polled 100 5th graders 95 of them would know that those text messages could be retrieved. This is, after all, the guy that told us that W lacked "intellectual curiousity".

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
