After re-reading everyone else's, I agree, there is no chance in this case this piece of trash can be fixed,,,,,but my God, can't want this for all mankind! This can't be the right way to go. I used to be the one in this place screaming take them to the nearest tree!!! My God, they kicked me from the Freep, for just that remark!!! THIS ISN'T RIGHT, PEOPLE. "Daddy no, Daddy,no daddy no" those words alone did me in when I read the story. As the child and at 15 years of age I can call him a child still. He was pulled out into the yard and a postal worker aimed a gun at the child and with no disregard, squeezed the trigger and with one simple movement, Laid to rest a little boy's idea of love he had for his Father. My goddness Detroit, what in the world is going on right now? Have we as a community reached a point where we quit caring, so bad that we have allowed things like this to happen in the first place? How did the family not see this coming? If he was a Postal worker, he had a t his beckon call ,,,,,FREE A MENTAL CARE system and time he needed it for himself and his family, All he had to do was ask!! Did not a single soul at school not see this was coming? WHY,WHY,WHY, This young man may have been who knows what, this is sickening, all I can do is cry right now, and ask why can't we all fix this? Dear Nolan, I think being sick may be a good thing at this stage of America. I'm growing so very tired of the LIES spread around by this Administration, whether they are on purpose or by mistake, they are still spreading them all the same. I look at the day in Obituaries, when a very old person of 100 or more passes, and I say to my wife, wow, look at the things this person has seen come and go. Look at the Presidents, and see what this person has had to deal with. And at 52 I have only had to deal with only half of this and I'm so simply disgusted it isn't funny!! I wonder if a saying I once heard is the only way one can live in the United States,,,,,,You can just live in America to accept the Government at hand as is, and to Love the Country you have forever! And I want to always accept that Nolan, because, except for a time when Ronald Regan was in office, and a few moments during GW, AFTER SEPT. 11, I really can't remember any times, when I could stand up and say, "Everyone stand up and support your government". But there isn't one time in my 52 years do I remember , even during our ugliest years do I remember not truly LOVING AMERICA!!. Now why at this moment in time Nolan do I not accept this President and his Administration for any rhyme or reason? Like I said Mr. Finley, my favorite writer, I'm growing tired of what we have become and how we have allowed America to : Let a group like ACORN work in the streets showing children right from wrong? PLEASE!! Let Rush say some of the words he says on the radio like he does, (and I listen to him )PLEASE!! lET A Rev. Wright talk like he did, and not shut him down before all the damage was done, my God, he is a Minister of God, what God I'm not certain!! PLEASE. Let, Republicans and Democrat's alike push around a Health Care Bill through all the phases a BILL must go through when they know full well over 55% of the AMERICAN PEOPLE DO NOT WANT THIS BILL THE WAY IT IS !!!
