And this diner particularly likes No. 78: "Do not ask, 'Are you still working on that?'."
Always makes me think I wielded cutlery as though I were on a demolition job.
Incidentally, the sequel still tops The Times' most e-mailed list four days after it ran.
Two-way street
Enjoyed the list earlier . . . until my co-diner noted pointedly that a few guidelines (no flirting, no joking, no touching) also apply to patrons.

All I know is that I want that empty plate left alone 'til everyone has finished . . . and I always wince at "Good choice."
