Stefani

Reading this story and considering it's theory to be true; one could safely argue that Kwame was entitled to all the "fringe benefits" that he afforded himself to while in office because he helped to bring a lot of new developement to the city, which in turn added to the city's tax base. While most of us are glad Kwame's time as mayor is over, you can not ignore that he spearheaded the efforts that brought in some major sporting and entertainment events to our city as well as a lot of downtown developement. You go back into the archives of the Detroit newspapers as well as some of the national publications that gave him kudos early in his administration.

I believe as many of us believe that all his good has been long forgotten because of all of the wrong that came to light that happened during his tenure.

Mr. Stefani should be looked at no differently. If he lied under oath (which is what brought down Kwame), please, please apply the same principle to EVERYONE and not just the people that we dislike.

We value your feedback, so please let us know if you have any questions or problems.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
