Lions' defense holds on fourth down
Say this for the Lions' defense: They've been pretty good in fourth-down, short-yardage situations.
Another big stop on fourth-and-inches from the Detroit 8 -- Turk McBride and DeAndre Levy made the stop on TE/FB Jeff Dugan on a run to the right side of the line -- kept the Vikings off the board with 4:21 left in the half.
The Lions' offense couldn't do anything once again and the Lions quickly forced another punt. But at least the Lions kept the game within reach at 10-0. Now we'll see how Favre fares with a 2-minute drill to end the half.
