Lions' new DL states its case

Nice series by the Lions' defensive line -- one of their best in quite awhile.

A pass breakup by Joe Cohen, rotating in for Grady Jackson early on, got it started. Then after an incomplete pass by Favre that nearly got receiver Bernard Berrian sawed in half, Turk McBride, switching over to left defensive end, just blew past rookie tackle Phil Loadholt for a sack.

Not bad for a September waiver pickup and a street free agent who was on the practice squad a couple weeks ago.

Yes, Cohen and McBride!

John, Yes, you hit the nail on the head with this one! Both are one of the few bright spots on the Lions defense! Cohen played his guts out and was quite effective as was McBride. I'm expecting good things of both against the Browns. They both have the potential to dominate.
