Seahawks 25, Lions 20: Hanson kicks 50-yarder
A big run by Kevin Smith set up Jason Hanson's 50-yard field goal -- into the wind -- to cut the lead to five points with 8:04 left. That came on after a critical third-down stop by Louis Delmas at the other end of the field forced Seattle to settle for a 20-yard field goal by Olindo Mare.
But on the ensuing kickoff after Hanson's 50-yarder, another special teams coverage breakdown allowed a 46-yard return across midfield.
