Lions 17, Seahawks 16: Mora opts for chip-shot FG
A 49-yard catch-and-run by Julius Jones brought the crowd to its feet here early in the third quarter. Louis Delmas made a diving ankle tackle to trip up Jones at the Detroit 15-yard line. But facing a fourth-and-1 at the 6, Seahawks coach Jim Mora opted to go ahead and have Olindo Mare kick the 24-yard field goal to make it 17-16 with 9:24 left in the third quarter. We'll see if that call opens him up to criticism later on.
