Steelers 28, Lions 13: Airing out their differences
Another deep ball over Will James' head -- and with no safety help from Marquand Manuel -- put the Steelers up 28-13 with 6:13 left.
Then a second long drive by the Lions -- the first 6 1/2-minute drive ended with a missed 49-yard field goal by Hanson -- was halted by Culpepper's interception of 2009 (including the preseason). He fumbled a snap, then threw a floater intended for Bryant Johnson that sailed long and into the hands of safety Ryan Clark.
The Lions held the ball for 12 minutes in the third quarter and came away with no points. Ouch.
