Linehan next up for the Lions?
It has been speculated for months, the possibility of former Rams head coach Scott Linehan coming to Detroit as the Lions' new offensive coordinator.
And it's a pretty strong rumor now that he's reportedly in line for an interview, assuming Brian Schottenheimer stays with the Jets. Calls to Linehan and his agent haven't been returned this morning, but we'll see how this progresses today and tomorrow.
The obvious connection: Linehan, the former Vikings offensive coordinator, worked with quarterback Daunte Culpepper in his heydays in Minnesota.
