By the way, if you're keeping score at home: That's a whopping four carries for 16 yards in two games for Rudi Johnson ...
Reason I mention it is because, as Terry Foster is reporting for tomorrow's paper, the Lions had a few RBs in for workouts Tuesday, including Shaun Alexander. (Cedric Benson and Verand Morency are the others they're looking at.) The Lions say it's just due dilligence. Fair enough -- injuries happen and you've got to be prepared when the do on short notice during the season. (Especially when the only backup with any experience has missed a lot of time the last year due to injury.)
But "due dilligence" is what they said when they brought in Johnson, too, right?
