CyberSurvey: Ellen DeGeneres as 'Idol' judge?
lionsforsale,
Funny post - Now who do you suppose should the grand prize winner of 'American ITIOT' ?
r4u2
lionsforsale,
Kudos to you. It is a rare individual who admits he is wrong. And an even bigger man to post documentation PROVING they are wrong. Most would simply attack the person(r4u2) who proved them wrong. Again - kudos to you.
PuhLeese
r4u2,
Ironic that Mark Eaton points his finger at America regarding the treatment of gays, but he himself made a joke about Ryan Seacrests sexual orientation a few blogs back. Yes, Mark's a real kool guy. Embarrassing.
American Idol
Mark,
Only a really kool guy would enjoy taking the side less popular and challenging America? But I might point out that your blogs receive anywhere from zero to 3 responses each week. Don't know the exact number but I would swear on a stack of bibles there are a few more people in America than 3. I would encourage you to go back and count. I think you might be the definition of 'self-important'. In addition you have the most rare of abilities - divining the intention of the voters. America can elect its first black president, but the American Idol voters, who are generally younger and more 'hip', are stuck in the 1950's. Didn't realize the Anita Bryant and Miss California were such big fans. I'm guessing you will get support from people who find comfort in playing the homophobe card. Can you say 'pander'. Kinda the opposite of 'challenging' isn't it. Not all is negative though as I give you props for landing the venue to 'challenge America' with the 'American Idol Blog'
Sure hope you will come back to 'challenge America' next season.
Idol Votes
Adam,
I'm not convinced either that there is a vote count conspiracy. I believe one of your fellow bloggers voted somewhere around 150 times. It's probably a safe assumption that if you were to vote, you would vote more than once.
60 millions votes would be 6 million people voting 10 times each. Again, I don't see 60 million votes at being a conspiracy.
your blog
Caren,
I was simply catching 2 comments in one post. My point to Nicole was that Adam may not have been in the final 2, as she stated. He may have been 3rd in voting and Ryan was free to send the 3rd or 4th place vote getter to safety. Simply because he was standing with the 5th place vote getter we cannot assume he was voted into the bottom 2. As for 'messing with our heads', a major part of Ryan's job is to create suspense.
your blog
knikki and nicoleocala,
I don't think you can assume that Adam was in the bottom two just because he was in the last group of two. He was in the bottom three, then Kris was sent to 'safety'. We don't know if Adam or Kris was number three or four. We only know that Matt was number five. And it might not be fair to place the blame for the food fight on the contestants. Knowing how producers love 'good tv', I would bet it's more likely than not the producers directed the contestants. But I would agree it was not necessary.
CyberSurvey: Who's No. 2?
Who's number 2?
Apparently the voters thought Matt was number 2 last night.
And now the end is near by blogger Mark
I've been following the blogs fairly close and I have to say that I can't recall anyone commenting on Mark's sense of humor or that he was overly mean. Can only guess he needs to rationalize something - oh well.
CyberSurvey: Right to save Matt?
Charlie,
Mark comes across as thinking he's 'too kool for school'.
Yet he has chosen to keep an American Idol blog.
Makes you scratch your head. I guess some people are just happier when they complain. Makes them feel a bit superior I suppose.
'save' not allowed in top 5
Mark,
I'm curious if you were forced to write this blog or if you volunteered.
ADAM LAMBERT
It's none of my business
CyberSurvey: Cut from 'Idol'
Heard that Martha Reeves approved of American Idol coming to Detroit but Monica Conyers complained that most of the contestants did not look like her.
