Kenneth Brown hosts TLC's
We've all been there. You start to collect something (bunnies, in my case; stuffed bears, flamingos) and pretty soon your house or apartment is overflowing with them. Friends give them to you as birthday or Christmas gifts, and you simply can't bear to part with any of them.
That's where TLC's new series "Over Designed," hosted by design expert Kenneth Brown comes in. It airs 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20. In each half-hour episode, Kenneth will visit one overzealous homeowner who has taken a motif to the extreme. Using his celebrated design sensibility, he will enlist the help from family and friends, and they will turn these rooms into inviting and livable spaces for the whole family to enjoy, while continuing to honor the nominee's passions.
"The series will strive to celebrate each person's unique design sense of style, but will help streamline their look and offer ways to better celebrate their collections," explains Kenneth.
