Dr. Moon, when you say Obama was able to ram the stimulus bill past the people, without our imput, (input) you are the person Glen Beck is talking about who is distorting reality and way too happy taking shots at a surrogate enemy. The real enemy is the inability to get a message advanced that out of control spending by either the red or the blue must stop aka march on Washington, tea bag parties are working.
Telling people they are wrong or stupid, creates and fuels an opposition that otherwise may not want much different that you.
Obama told America what is was hungry to hear. What makes you think it won't happen in the future with another guy - red or blue?
Let's move forward to the next election, when you have your input you claim not to have, and what will you do? Vote for anyone just to get rid of Obama??
So many of these posts are tit-for-tat accusations and it's only setting us up for another election that puts the wrong guy in office. Obama is done and smaller government is a growing realization - except we have no one to get us there - yet. Appealing to Americans on principle such as less government, less spending, more emphasis on self reliance than socialist invasions into a democratic republic society is the goal. Liberals and conservatives will not join together as long as the sniping supplants anything and everything else.
As Glen Beck said, both sides are guilty of growing government and horrific spending with no shortage of dupes defending their side and slamming the other side when both the red and blue are doing this country no good.
The message isn't just how to get the other guy out of office since that put Obama in office to a large degree. He's not THAT great of an orator. There had to be something more and something more is brewing again to put someone, anyone but Obama in office which could put us back in the position of spending money we don't have on programs we can't afford or justify.
I am not a Glen Beck groupie however, if he or anyone else makes sense I have to give credit where it's due.
