when observing both Stabenow's confusion on the difference between natural physical phenomena and global warming, and Conyers' inability/unwillingness to actually read the HealthCare bill before signing it, it occurs to me that the people of Michigan are extremely ill-served by their representatives in Washington.
i am sure that there are bright, rational, and honest citizens in this state....it is to be hoped that more of these are selected for office soon...the people have a hard enough time without the "help" of these "leaders".

Now that I read her scientific comment about global warming, I feel better. As a resident of the state of Washington, I thought we had the biggest moron (Murray)in the congress, now I realize that Michigan has a perhaps bigger moron.

This is not being sarcastic. However, your senator Stabenow is a foolish woman. With massive unemployment, rampant crime, and city decay, what is your Stabenow doing for you? She is worrying about the fraud of human created global warming. How is Obama and Stabenow doing and how are they doing for Detroit? When will the people of Michigan going to learn that Democrats are not your friends.
Ask yourself, what have the leftists in Congress done for the state of Michigan, what has Obama done for the state of Michigan?

As a person who has lived in many states, I am amazed at the people who are sent to represent us in Washington. Michigan - Stabenow, Conyers & Dingell; Massachusetts - Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry; South Carolina - Inglis & Graham. California - Boxer, Pelosi, Feinstein, etc. Sometimes it is because we choose the lesser of two evils, but things are going to have to change if we are going to get better as a country. Look at the big Blue states that are having huge financial collapses (CA,MI, MA & NY). If you want real change, vote these individuals out!

I lived in Michigan almost 39 years and had to move last October to the D.C. area to get work. I still have a house in Michigan I can't sell because of the economy, and she's trying to destroy the economy further? When I was a journalism student in college I interviews Stabenow. She was dumber than a sack of hair then, and it's sad to see nothing has changed.

This woman is a nut case. Time to begin thinking about elections and get this crazy woman out of office. She needs to be worrying about how to heat the homes in Michigan this year. It might be a good time for her to stop flying around since she is leaving her little foot print out there (that is if she really believes this hoax). She should also be reading some of the bills that come before the Senate instead of flying and floating.
