Here's another quick roundup of back-to-school bargains for busy parents. These sales are good through Saturday, Aug. 16:
Target is advertising an iHome lamp that plays and charges an iPod or an Audiovox CD stereo with an iPod dock for just $44. Book covers and pencil boxes or pouches are 50 cents, 64-count Crayola crayons are $2, and 1-subject Mead notebooks are $1.
At Staples, (while supplies last), five-packs of Paper Mate mechanical pencils are 25 cents, 150-sheet packs of filler paper are 9 cents, two-pocket plastic report covers are 20 cents, and a reem of copy paper is $1.99.
At Walgreens, regular backpacks are two for $9.99, Bic pen 12-packs are $1.99, filler paper packs are 99 cents, and 3-packs of Sharpie retractable markers are two for $5.
While supplies last,Office Max is selling 2-pocket folders for a penny, poly binders for 30 cents and filler paper for 15 cents. A 2 GB Sandisk USB drive is also on sale for $11.99.
