Chief Warren Evans

FYI Cummings never spent one day on patrol. Not one day out on the streets as a police officer. Not one day making

arrests or solving a crime. Those metals referred to are

just for aesthetics and make her look important.

Chief Warren Evans

Someone posted a comment under the "Getting away with murder in Detroit" article about former Police Chief Ella Bully Cummings and the amount of medals she used to wear on her uniform. This was my response, which apparently didn't get posted because of the date of the original article:

Speaking of the medals Wooly Bully Cummings used to wear on her uniform, which included one for "Typing without Breaking a Nail", another for "Maintaining Perfect Uniform Appearance while Kissing Kwame's Azz for 6 Years", and another for "Covering Up A Stripper's Murder", someone needs to ask Warren Evans how he managed to get sooooooo many medals to pin on his chest after being Chief for less than 3 months. The truth is, most decorated officers get their medals at the rank of Police Officer through Lieutenant. In 20+ years, I have never seen an executive above the rank of Commander earn a medal. I warned you all 3 months ago that Evans was all about "the show". Those medals he wears were not earned during his tenure as Police Chief, if anything, he MAY have earned them with the WCS Department. Unfortunately for him, medals are not transferable from department to department. We are not impressed "Chief" Evans. Many great and brave Detroit Police Officers have risked their lives for those phony ribbons you wear on your chest. Being Chief and leader of this department requires a lot more than your fake posturing.

Threading in forums

We are working on adding threading to the forums. Clicking on the headline of a post will now get you related posts in a few different ways.

- If the post was sent to us in response to an article, clicking on that post's headline will retrieve all comments on that article, and clicking on the "See related article" link will send you to the article itself.

- If the comment was submitted in response to a cybersurvey, clicking on the headline will take you to the cybersurvey and its related comments.

- If you click on the headline of a forum post that was simply posted in the forum, you will get all posts with that same headline.

If you want to add a comment to a thread in the forum, use the same headline as the post to which you want to respond.

If you find a problem, please tell us, and thanks in advance for your patience as we work to improve the forums for you.
