Face of Hope
Ms. Brown,
Your Face of Hope is very nice and framed beautifully.
To incorporate the the frame, which your late mother helped you to pick, with the intricate rendering of our first black president, is truly special.
Have you considered doing another one and sending it to the President? I bet he and his family would welcome such a gift that could be prominently displayed! And to know that your mother did not live to see this time in history, like his mother, grandmother and father, would probably be a story he'd love to tell about the Face of Hope. Just a thought...
Thanks for sharing this and so many other projects with your readers.

Your Crafts
Ms. Brown,
Your columns are very informative and enjoyable, so much so that I keep them in a book for future reference.
I was wondering if you ever showcase your crafts in your column and how to make them in your column? Your bio indicates you like making soft sculpture, among other things, and I'm curious about this.
BTW, I'm a Wayne State graduate as well, but currently not doing much with my BIS degree. The craft bug has taken over, and I love it!
