Hi Jocelynn,

I LOVE your column, I am an avid knitter and embroiderer (machine).

I want to tell you about a unique new knit store. The name of the knit store is Gail's Darn Yarn, it is located at 2028 Hazel in Birmingingham

What makes Gail different..... she is always willing to help with your knitting issues. I have been to a lot of Knit stores in my day and nobody has been as kind and patient.

Her yarns are fabulous, she has samples all around her store and her customers are wonderful.

Knitting

To me, knitting always seemed easier for me to do than crochet because I ALWAYS lost stitches in crocheting. Knitting (mostly) always keeps them on the needle so it's harder to lose them.
