Time ticking away...

Michigan has the ball for what should be its last time against Ohio State.

Five turnovers later and the Wolverines are trailing, 21-10, with just more than a minute left.

This hasn't been pretty. Ironically, the defense has actually played fairly well most of this game. It was the offense that imploded.

Michigan scores

On third down, Tate Forcier scrambled, avoided a defensive end, and threw a wobbling pass to freshman tailback Vincent Smith who scored the 18-yard touchdown.

The drive was set up by Jonas Mouton's interception of Terrelle Pryor, giving Michigan the ball at the Ohio State 49-yard line.

Score: Ohio State 14, Michigan 10.

The nightmare continues

Michigan put together a nice drive from its own 40-yard line to the Ohio State 7, but ...

Jason Olesnavage just missed right on a 24-yard field goal with 4:20 left in the first quarter.

The Wolverines appeared to be on their way to tying the game.

Backup quarterback Denard Robinson came in for three plays and kept things moving before Tate Forcier returned to take over on 3rd-and-five at the Michigan 43.

Forcier then connected with Roy Roundtree on a 21-yard pass.

The score remains: Ohio State 7, Michigan 0.
