Roy Roundtree scored on a 43-yard pass from Tate Forcier with 8:41 left in the first half. Roundtree now has seven catches for 103 yards.
Michigan covered 92 yards in eight plays.
There were several big plays during the drive including a 21-yard pass to LaTerryal Savoy and an 18-yard run by Forcier.
Michigan 24, Purdue 10.
