Double the cylinders, quadruple (at least) the fun
Two cars ago, my ride was powered by a four-cylinder engine, something that got great gas mileage, but required deft driving as you merged on to the highway or passed another car while using the air-conditioner. When I upgraded to a crossover with a V-6, it seemed the horses had been unleashed.
Silly me. Driving a Dodge Charger R/T this week with a Hemi V-8 reminds me how fun it is to drive. And why when given the option, I'll trade the few miles per gallon difference for a little more power.
