What's coming from the major auto makers
2011 Chevrolet Aveo
Chevy Aveo's frequent flier makes it to U.S.
GM is racking up the frequent flier miles as the 2011 Chevy Aveo (or maybe Chevy Viva?) continues its testing tour of the globe. While this small car has been spotted in Northern Sweden and Germany, this is the first time we've seen it in America.
This all-new car will be riding on GM's Global Gamma II chassis. We can expect a four-door sedan variant and a five-door hatchback -- seen here in our spy photos.
It remains to be seen which badge will show up on the back of this car, but some rumors suggest the Aveo name will be swapped for Viva.
Watch for this new B-segment car to go into production at GM's Orion Township plant near the end of 2010 or possibly early 2011.
